Happy Atari Falcon030 for sale !!!

I'm selling an Atari Falcon 68030 with 4 Mb built in. Reason : too many computers and not enough time for my Amiga's

Falcon will be sold with 60 Mb (not Gb) internal harddisc, scsi connector on the back. Computer has been tested on a regular TV with an antenna calbe.

Problem : harddisc does not boot the OS anymore, needs to be re-installed, the harddisc itself does start to spin and resets itself but that's it, it's like an A1200 with a harddisc that has been formatted

Pictures at : http://users.telenet.be/DiscoVmax/Atari/

Price : 250 euro, shipping worldwide included. Payment by PayPal or else payment when local pickup close to Brussels or Maastricht.

Happy

Last two prices I have seen on Ebay were 300 and 333 euro, thought I might ask a bit lesser

About the doorstep, one can try to imagine how a pc user looks at an A1200 with 68030 board with a price of 250 euro

sorry effy, no booby no deal you spoiled us !

actually this is a good deal, considering I paid 280 euro for a falcon shipped from belgium sometime ago. But it had a busboard accelerator. But they're not so expensive I think ...

Would buy it if I had the money.

Yeah, everyone's so spoiled, I mean "used to bargains". Such as Archimedeses for 20 bob

What's the specs of a max-tricked-out Falcon for running the latest scene demos? 060 board with some ram and that's it?

I agree, it's a good deal that. They're the best Atari made imo and don't come along that often.

Shame not much was utilised with them in terms of software but they are desirable. Even I'd have one if I had the dough.... and I hate Atari

Exactly my thoughts.

I'd only use it for demo coding/watching so I don't care much about the lack of software for it.

How much for??

I've been looking for one for ages. Prices for a German one can be ridiculously low compared to UK, under €200 for a 4MB model. But they never want to post outside Germany and they never accept PayPal or MoneyBookers

BuZz bought his, boxed, with provenance for £150 (Jealous)

I know that is what he wanted, but everyone tries to shave a few €'s off when they buy. Haggling is part of the fun of buying classic stuff.

250 EUR is a good price for a Falcon so I didn't even argue about it.
