The "voices" were a bit silly but otherwise it's a decent enough game.

Wasn't a terrible effort, certainly better than most of the arcade conversions we got.

One problem with the Amiga port - I remember it being difficult to make the jumps over the trucks or maybe that was me

Looks great at first glance but the one button controls completely ruined it.

Of course that's been taken care of in the WHDLoad version, still not great but way better than it was, that's for sure.

Missing jump ruined it although it was fixed in a later obscure release for most it was ruined by this silly mistake.

Yup, up THEN diagonal, was so unintuitive that is crazy :/

In fact, one of the programmer told me face to face that since they had to do the ST version too, they could not go too far on the Amiga. the game is not using the Amiga to the maximum....

He told me the nightmare it was to make such a sprite-using-a-lot game on the Atari ST....

Used to play a lot this game back in 1990, the jumps where awfulls!!!!
Just had a go with it tonight, i played the ntsc version and i must say this conversion is not bad at all. so many sprites on screen, the scrolling is not smooth but not jerky either.
which version had the jump fixed ?

ive got a bit confused was the jump fixed in a particular version or a spin kick was added?
anyway unfortunately ive not tested yet but CFOU's whdload slave CUSTOM3=2+4 should fix it.
