Infocom conversions

The MSX Infocom releases
http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?..._conversion=21

are very likely unofficial.
I inquired about these some time ago here:
http://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/so...y-released-msx

Nothing came up suggesting that would suggest they were released commercially.

There are however many other official ports.

Here's a list of the official C16/Plus4 ports for example.

I also made a thread concerning Level 9 conversions that wasn't addressed, if anything is unclear, please ask and I'll elaborate.

Ok, things are errrr noted.

I sure wish the HOL member who added the MSX conversions would take care of that but if nobody takes care of that in the next days I'll investigate the matter (I don't know much about MSX and text adventure games)

I already had quite some fun when trying to get things more clear about the Hugo games:
http://eab.abime.net/hol-contributio...tml#post881086
so I don't mind repeating the experience

Sorry for you previous thread not being noticed. I guess that it being from near the New Year period, didn't help but our mistake anyway

The conversions are listed over at http://www.generation-msx.nl/

which is basically the MSX equivalent to Hol. Probably many people got the data from there. You just need to read the linked MSX.org thread to see why a commercial release is unlikely. I also later realized that the media is given as "tape"at the MSX database. Infocom releases came on disk for any platform, so that's just another datapoint.

The Plus/4 database by contrast has scans for all the Infocom releases, so I don't think there's any need for doubt there, they should qualify to be added as Commodore Plus 4/C16 (64K) at hol.
