Anyone Running a Bigfoot Killer Nic?
Looking for advice on running the Bigfoot Killer M1 nic card. I have installed this card in my Mediator, and following all the instructions for sonnet, using getinfo etc, it reports the card is there. (although it does not show up in the Expansion diagnostics board window).
I have a lan wire connected to it, and the back led of the lan connector on the card is green. However, there are 2 surface mounted LED's flashing away all the time on the boards surface. Is this usual? The big "K" heat sink is missing. What drivers do I need, if any to get the lan port working? I have installed Roadshow, and IBrowse2.5, but when I run IBrowse, it throws up an error about DNS? Thanks Utukku |

You can use the PPC but as far as I know there's not a driver for the LAN

Yes the constant flashing is normal, exactly the same on mine.
Also are you sure you don't have a K1? This is without the big heatsink. K1 is 333mhz, M1 is 400mhz. |
