Do Amiga Technologies A1200 need timing fixes?

I just bought am A1200 that I believe came from Petro Tystchenko, any idea if I will have to do timing fixes to use an ACA? Also what about the capacitors? Should i replace them straight away? Thanks.

If the system is unstable with the ACA then you need the fixes, if course you won't know until you install the turbo board. The same applies to any A1200 regardless of revision.

As for caps I highly recommend changing them especially if the Amiga has never been used.

If its a 1D4, then they generally dont need fixes.
Doesn't really matter if its Amigatech or not.

Hi.
I have an A1200 1d4 made by Escom, ACA 1232 and Indy AGA MK2cr.
With a modified psu. I can tell you that I have not had any problems.

My C= 1D4 was very unstable with the ACA1232 and after some fixes it worked fine. My Escom 2D didn't need any fixes. Just to show that you can never be sure until you test it.
