Sorry to dig up an older topic but just press "7" on the CDTV remote and "9" to load. I don't know if it works straight from the keyboard or with WinUAE for the matter.

Anyone got a clue where to save game's stored in the CDTV version?

Send a message via ICQ to Chain
as there isnt any NVRAM in cdtv, you have only few options where to save - to a attached floppy drive, or weird 64kb card which is specially for cdtv

CDTV has 4K of "configuration/save" ram (not battery backed up, keeps data as long as power cable is connected)

I suppose Wrath saves to this space then? I wasn't aware that there even is one as it seems this feature isn't widely advertised (unlike the CD32 nvram).

This brings me to another point. I wonder why most other games won't utilize this space for save games as it's even bigger than the amount of ram in CD32. Most CDTV games seem to require a memory card or a floppy disk for saves.

If it really saves and does not ask for disk/flash card.

Probably because it was not battery backed. (Note that A570 uses EEPROM instead of SRAM)

WOTD uses bookmark.device. This may help Tony to figure out what the save system is.

And yes, I was not able to save the game, while it is said that you can save.

I've got trouble reaching save game screen in Guy Spy CDTV too.

Hmm, on my CDTV I can save games without problems and they still exist after turning off the power or rebooting. Haven't tried removing the power cable yet though.

"I can't save" isn't really bug report or something.. (is it supposed to be one?)

I've figured it out now. You need to press the Escape-key on the CDTV-controller during an animation or death sequence and you'll be taken to the save/load screen after it finishes.
