What do we know about Kang Fu? Dutch speakers help!

I am looking for any information or memories you'd like to share about Kang Fu! I found this interesting comment on a longplay of the game;

Taxi Teller
In case somebody is still interested in the backstory of this game, I've found an interview with the developers in an old Dutch Amiga magazine (Amiga Magazine number 42 from November 1996 (I don't know Dutch myself, but google lens helped a lot):

Apparently GREED was simply a group of friends and relatives who wanted to develop game that took advantage of the capabilities of the Advanced Graphics Architecture chipset (hence the CD32 compatibility). So more of a tech demo that eventually became a game. When it was finished they looked for a publisher, but nobody wanted to release stuff for the Amiga anymore. Finally they self-published the game and distributed it by mail order. The funniest part of the interview was the info that they pitched the game to Psygnosis and apparently Psygnosis actually liked the game. They only rejected the offer because they had already withdrawn from the Amiga market at that time.

I have attached the pages he mentions to this post, would any Dutch readers be kind enough to give us a translation? Thank you very much in advance!

I am also writing a short walkthrough of the game, so here is a list of the levels. Each level has a large room which you need to explore and find the exit door, and a small boss room with some collectables. The game has ten levels, each of which has a boss, although many of them are reused. The amount of Joeys and Diamonds in each level is displayed at the end, in very hard to read font so please excuse any mistakes in the numbers. None of the levels are named so I have based the name on objects in the stage and the backgrounds.

Level 1 Mountain (In Holland perhaps?)
Boss – Giant Rhino
Joeys -18
Diamonds – 100
Password - KLOOT

Level 2 Egypt
Boss – Giant Snake
Joeys – 8
Diamonds - 557

Level 3 New York (Features the Twin Towers in the background!)
Boss – Robot Fish
Joeys – 16
Diamonds - 281

Level 4 Greece
Boss – Giant Gorilla
Joeys - 19
Diamonds - 159

Level 5 Ireland?
Boss - Dragon with an artillery cannon (???)
Joeys - 13
Diamonds - 268
Password - HOEWA

Level 6 Easter Island
Boss - Giant Snake again
Joeys - 13
Diamonds - 234

Level 7 Jungle
Boss - Giant Gorilla again
Joeys - 12
Diamonds - 182

Level 8 Desert
Boss - Two robot fish (they share the same health pool)
Joeys - 15
Diamonds - 264

Level 9 Rome
Boss - Giant Rhino again
Joeys - 10
Diamonds - 321

Level 10 Uluru
Boss – Giant fire breathing skull
Joeys – 10
Diamonds - 321

Ending Text;

SEE YOU IN KANG TWO

I ran the pages through an AI translator that automatically inserted the text. What amazing technology! This is the error laden result. I know it would make a native speaker cringe, but this is the best I can do for now.

According to this interview Commodore UK flew the boys to Maidenhead to demo Kang Fu for them! David Pleasance was supposedly impressed and even thought about putting the game in an Amiga bundle. They also supposedly showed the game to Psygnosis, who "found it very interesting"!

The other page was a very kind review that seemed to give GREED the benefit of doubt, they must have made friends during the interview stage lol. So not much to learn from that page.

Yes. The commercial releases of PFS2 and PFS3 even included Kang Fu on the CD as a bonus.

AM: what was the impetus to create the game Kang-Fu?

Hugo: "I liked the so-called AGA games but found the quality abominable. I have never seen a game where I thought. "That's really an AGA game! This is why I bought an AGA-Amiga!'.

Michiel: "We wanted to end that situation by making Kang Fu. And even if I say so myself, we succeeded very nicely. No other game draws as much from the AGA chipset as Kang Fu. Other games pale at our high resolution, 'full-frame rate' and thousands of colors."

"A Hugo: number of PC experts have looked at the ability to transfer Kang Fu to PC. Even a Pentium with the most expensive graphics card could not compare to a CD32 in terms of amount of colours."

"At the time we received good support from the old Commodore. Everyone else complained about their support, but for us the opposite turned out to be true."

Apparently the received a good feedback from David Pleasence and Psygnosis, but I do not see it as a good game. Just used some scanned photos with badly hand drawn characters. And what is that rhino boss
