OS4 compatible?

I don't know much about OS4, but I've learned that it has some "emulation-limitations" when it comes to 68k applications.
Read somewhere that it doesn't support cia-related code(?)
Is there any documentation available somewhere about what is, and what is not supported under OS4 when it comes to emulating 68k code?

AFAIK OS4 supports everyting which OS3 supports, too. Main point is "supports". OS3 never supported direct hardware banging, but people did it anyway.

Exactly what I said above. There is no supported "CIA-related" code in OS3. There is timer.device, serial.device, parallel.device and others which internally use the CIA on OS3 and might use other chips on OS4, but it was never supported to bang the CIA directly. Of course direct banging cannot work if there is no CIA in the machine.
