Artic Fox USA Version

I'm trying to find a working adf version of this game. Everything I have tried only loads so far and stops. Is there a working version of this game. I want to write it to a disk and play it on my Amiga 500. I would be willing to buy the game as well If it is a USA version.

Arctic Fox is really, really old. I recall some threads stating it needed Kickstart 1.2 (or 1.1) to work.

I have Kickstart 1.2. From what I have been reading in the forums it has to do with the boot loader or something like that. That is what keeps it from loading the game up.

On Winuae, only the extended adf (not the one with [b]) works and the ipf. You need to use the quickstart configuration, A500 - 1.2 ROM, OCS Agnus, 512 K Chip RAM.

The same config with +512 k Slow Ram loads too, but the game has graphical glitches or may occasionally stop working.

edit: was referring to tosec v2012 images

AFAIK all NTSC Arctic Fox adf images are uncracked copies of original copy protected disk and will hang/crash.

I have a kryoflux now and the sps version or ipf file is bad. Game crashes on 1.2 and 1.3 kickstart. Bad graphics and disc access.

Can you remove the memory expansion, or disable the fastram memory so that only Chip ram is left ?

Once I removed the memory expansion the game worked. Thanks for the help.
