Rego plate spotted on the way home

Never before have I been tempted to ask someone if they want to trade plates (legal here so long as you do the paperwork and pay the fees)

To me it looks more likely as intentional. Can't you get custom plates in Australia?

It's just a normal license plate range or so it seems.

It might still have been specially requested or reserved by someone. In Ireland, we don't have custom plates whatsoever, but when interesting numbers are due to be issued, you can have them reserved if you know who to ask, so people often get them to match their birth year or some other significant number.

That plate is simply calling the great lakes the a55h073 of Michigan.
