New arcade quality a500 brawler, called Metro Siege, to be announced!

Pixelglass and the team behind 'Worthy', in cooperation with BitBeamCannon and Enable Software, are ready to announce to the community a mindblowing, brand new Amiga 500 brawler that we've been secretly working on!

Are you ready for the big reveal?
Tune in this Thursday, August 29th at 7 pm GMT (3pm EDT), to Amiga Bill's stream to find out and be prepared for some serious jaw droppings!

Link: https://www.twitch.tv/events/DlFwpl6...tlIkMCUUNqknQQ

Amiga Bill will be hosting Michael Parent in an exclusive interview. Mike is a pro-pixel artist and he's been working with us on this secret project. During the interview he is gonna discuss his ideas for a bright future for the Amiga gaming scene, present his current Amiga projects and other amazing retro games he's been creating, as well as this brand new -work in progress- Amiga 500 brawler! The 'climactic' reveal will include the new teaser video of our game and Bill actually playing live the latest build we've prepared for him! This is something every Amiga game enthusiast HAS TO SEE, so make sure not to miss this stream!

A ‘brawler’ is a beat-em up, so like Double Dragon, Golden Axe etc

But ‘Metro Siege’ as its called is more akin to Final Fight/Streets Of Rage going by the small screenshots.

Remains to be seen once the game is completed and published

Alarcity is handled by a different internal team, so it's unrelated to this project and it's development.
This new a500 brawler is coded by Alex Brown who made 'Worthy' which we've released last year.

Finally.

I begun learning to code for the Amiga because I wanted to do a proper beat'em up for OCS 1mb machines. I know it can handle it, is just that no one ever made it properly.

You guys can do it better than me.

FINALLY the Amiga may have a good beat'em up for it

EDIT: Just saw a video of it. Is that the AMIGA 512 KB VERSION?

Holy shit, it looks AWESOME!!!!

OMG!
Finally!

Look fantastic, and it looks like the Capcom style of beat em up fighting.
Finally a grab move. Finally nice combo... finally everything!
And I will play it on my A500!

Man, can't wait to buy this, and when client releases me some money, I'd like to donate a little bit (where?).

@shatterhand: It's optimised for a500 with 512k chip and 512k other ram. I.e your standard/most common amiga 500 setup.

Wow...fantastic looking! and on first impressions the all important collision detection looks good too, now if you can get it as good as Surf Ninjas you will have a winner on your hands!
