Amiga game has caused sensation "spine-chilling, hair stand on end"
Amiga game has caused sensation "spine-chilling, hair stand on end"(horror) shiver with fear goosebumps.
Any scene, Alien Breed 2 TKG gives me goosebumps, the sound ambience and the surprise appearance of monsters. I cannot help that. |

Well, infestation was maybe not spine-chilling but set the right atmosphere for it, if only my copy had not a piracy-protection that made the radioactivity level increase like in thirty seconds...

@Paul_s
Darkseed i seen it only in video on the CD-32 version and live on PC in the early nineties; however i agree that the atmosphere is very well done Dreamweb is indeed atmospheric but is heavy. Very heavy A desperate man in a desperate world. And at the end is hard not to empathize with the character so the end is even more sad |

Personal Nightmare.
I first played it when I was 7. Me and my little brother would turn off the lights, usually when a friend was sleeping over and scare ourselves sh*tless... Man, hearing the car screech and going out to find the dead guy on the road, and then on another playthrough realizing that everything in the game is moving in realtime, so we saw the "accident" happen. So creepy. |

Watching the Wrath Of The Demon intro for the first time as a kid gave me goose bumps. The vivid colours, the haunting soundscape, the beautifully rendered backgrounds. You felt like you were witnessing something very special indeed.

Sleeping boy in Loom eaten by dragon. Bunny hunted by owl in same game. Evil blind guardian in Elvira.

Shadow of the Beast intro. The woman screaming with baby / lightning. .
Dungeon master. The echoes of the red dragons footsteps. It came from the desert. Atmospherical music and coming face to face with that dam big ant. I'm sure there's more. . I'll keep thinking |

Dark Seed was genuinely disturbing at times. Playing that when I was a lot younger and realising that when I went a certain route other things were happening (so I missed the doorbell for example).
