Stamp Collecting Amiga Game Prototype
Another old Amiga prototype that I intended to port to Sega Genesis (Followed Genesis Limitations). This is a game about a boy who has a pet pig and is the sole heir to his grandfather's immaculate stamp collection, something they all enjoyed together. What the boy doesn't know is that there are stamps imbued with magical properties - giving anyone who possesses them the ability to control minds, etc. So naturally some rival/bad guy to the grandfather pursues them, and in a moment of conflict, attempts to kill the boy but the boy's pet pig jumps in the way of the bullet and dies for his master. The bad guy takes the stamps save for one, one that enables the boy to summon the pig (Now with wings) for special attacks and play time. Enjoy this brief technology demo from an old videotape... the last evidence that it exists.
AMOS! With some in-line assembly to get the scroller where I needed it, but it was cribbed from something else. It was really hard to inline stuff in AMOS.

Amiga unreleased legendary IQ Engine 3D by Alcatraz (demoscene group) running on emulated 68020 14 mhz 2 MB fast (no jit)
This engine, someone said:
"The game has never been published *sigh*, but it's amazing how fast it works!"
"Smooth 3D action on a "small" AGA Amiga with at least 4 Megs of FastRAM and a 68030 CPU or higher."
"3D Doom clone type game called IQ, and it was probably one of the smoothest and bestlooking true 3D engines I've ever seen; it flows beautifully,"

I uploaded, thanks for link it.
At last I installed a good codec to WinUAE and greatly reduces the weight of the file. Also we convert to wmv and further reduces.
But why while recording, the game slows down?

No name,
The author said:
This one was a platform game, written in Blitz Basic for the Amiga. The source code (one big sprawling file) and art assets are long gone after a hard drive disaster years ago.
The main character. I'm not sure what he was supposed to be, maybe a spaceman or a little alien or something like that.

The idea was that you would jump on baddies heads (how original!), and they would leave behind these little critters which you would have to collect to fill your quota for that level.

Not sure if this was mentioned somewhere already, but the DOS version of "Mystic Towers" by Apogee/Animation FX says "Amiga programming: ..." during the credits. Was this actually released for Amiga? Doesn't seem so.

It makes me feel sad to see all these canceled games !
There is so much which were canceled because of the commodore bankruptcy, it's really sad because many amigans stayed after the fall of commodore, they shouldn't have canceled these games.

The demo was copy-protected, as were most Psygnosis demos, so that explains why no dump seems to exist for this preview (although it was probably cracked and ended up on the nuking-room floor...)
Dear Twistin', I wish you were still around these boards, we miss you!
The Aquaventura preview will come out to the light soon
