turrican3 - can you post your WinUAE config file? Maybe its setup wrong?

Maybe we can all test.

I am using onboard sound with SB MB3 X-Fi (software X-Fi). I would kill to find a PCIE X-Fi card for a reasonable price.

Hi guys,
hi valken,
I think i found the problem...
It happens when i set stereo separation to 100 %.
No me crash with xenon with 90 % set since more than 10 minutes !
Thanks for all of you who tried to help.

Someting cool with sbz is that i can switch the sound buffer to the minimum and it's perfect no stuttering.

do you have a good advice on speakers ??
Which speakers do you use toni ??
Which speakers speakers are you happy with guys ??
I bought soundblaster zx, the sound is already better with it,
but i feel that i need a speaker which meet the quality of the soundblaster z.
a 5.1 speaker, but the price is the problem, finding a good speaker for more than 600 euro seems easy but under 300 euro seems more difficult.
What's your advice for a speaker 5.1 system under 300 euro ??
Or which one do you have that you are really happy with even if the price is upper.

For what i know "Bose" is a good choice

I think with 100 euros you can buy a "normal" 2.0 system

Or do you really need a 5.1 ?

I just plug my laptop into my TV via HDMI and for sound, into my Onkyo audio system

Decent brand, quality sound and not too expensive.

I have old home theater speakers (originally from my very old HT setup) + old 5.1 amp (10 years or so, newer old one didn't have analog 5.1 inputs), sound card is SB AE-5. (HT room has 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup + high end projector which obviously has higher priority than PC sound.. one of the subwoofers is also connected to PC sub out)

Yes, I know, not very useful answer for most users, I guess.
