The whdload fixed version is not working for me, "unsupported game version", same as the old one.

No, it's the fixed version. Just downloaded the preinstalled version from Indiretronews. If you installed it yourself you've probably used the old whdload package.

I would avoid that site after reading this thread. You won't even know if what you are reading is accurate or not, obviously the owner doesn't care

I added v1.2 installed from the fixed installer JOTD zoned to FTP the day before yesterday as well.
/Commodore_Amiga/Retroplay/Commodore_Amiga_-_WHDLoad_-_Games/R/Rygar_v1.2_AGA.lha
Works fine for me in my ClassicWB WinUAE CD32 controller setup.

This is not true, IRN is a good site and Neil does care.

I was silently hoping the shit storm that appeared in the previous page of this thread could be forgotten but unfortunately it has been drudged back up here.

Both the EAB and IRN have supported Rygar's development, maybe the former more than the latter but please stop the slagging off here as it's not needed.

Yes, I know I sort of caused it by asking Neil to update his site with correct information about the people involved...

...but let's all move on and be friends

Yeah, and guess what game beat it in scores / ranking?

Funny considering the author of said game is also the article writer; of course no bias at all

I have the magazine but I have no idea what the review says. If some kind German soul wants to translate it for me then I could perhaps show my appreciation in some way.

Hehe. Yes, Richard is a bit biased. I grant him his Reshoot-R praise anyway. Only the "Apidya killer" comment was a bit over the top. Maybe a Joke anyway. You shouldn't take this anniversary mag too serious.

Bit of a pain, but type the German text into here: https://translate.google.com/#view=h...te&sl=de&tl=en

Don't be silly man; it's just one article, about your game...

What the difference between some kind German person translating this for you or me attempting to do it via the scan?
