Request: Giana Sisters =UK version=
Come on guys,
someone of you MUST have that box! (yes the one with those "gutter-like" punks ) We should really have both boxes of this rarity in HOL; at the time I'm writing this, there's only the German box available. |

Are you sure that picture wasn't a cover of Commodore User and not the game packaging?

andreas is right gary. I bought this game as soon as it was released in uk, only to find out some weeks later, it had been withdrawn from shelves - something about "Mario clone". heh heh
The one I had wasn't in the tradition Amiga "big cardboard box" - it was in an inch thick clear cd case and the cover was exactly the same as the C64 version albeit the model in the bottom left. Times were hard for me back in 1996 and I flogged practically everything I had Amiga-wise to a shop called M & M Computers in Dagenham, uk. Typically, if only I had known then what I know now otherwise things could have been so different! Here's the C64 cover: http://www.retrogaming.it/c64/giana_sisters.jpg (might not always work this link) Here's another for the ST: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...en-GB%26sa%3DN I've yet to trace a picture for the Amiga version. It just amazes me the popularity and huge following of this game considering how rare it is to obtain an original. There are a number of sites offering screenshots/video clips, Java versions, etc. Last edited by quahappy; 19 August 2006 at 11:14. |

The Amiga version I'm requesting has *NO* model pictured! http://www.thelegacy.de/Museum/5578/ ^ The German C64 version is also fairly similar to the German RA Amiga release. What *I* am looking for is the equivalent Amiga box to THIS C64 version!! So qua, where's your "model"? Last edited by andreas; 21 August 2006 at 17:06. |

Sorry!
Yes, I forgot about the double meaning of "model". Maybe that's because I'm a guy and really thought you meant the gorgeous girl pictured on the German (!!) cover |
