On the Blizzard 1260 the maximum available space will allow a SIMM with no more than 31.2mm (~1" ¹/4) in height and with chips with no more than 3mm (a bit less than ¹/25" ) in thickness.
Yes, I measured this with a caliper rule. Engineers do it with precision, you know? |

For the pictures in Amiga Database (as I never own a B1230 of any model) the board have more space than the B1260 (which I own).
Even a thicker module will fit, as the 1230 don't have anything under the SIMM when installed. |
