anime heroine sidescroller
this one has been bugging me for years. I recall renting a game years ago (maybe 10) on the super nintendo, and there are only a few things I recall.
the main character was some short skirted anime chick, when she would jump she would hold her skirt down (I think blushing was involved too), and I recall the first boss battle having different sprites that were bigger than the sidescrolling ones, they might have been chibi sprites during the bosses (for you non weaboos, that means smaller and cutsier) what reminded me of it recently was seeing this picture http://i43.tinypic.com/nbozgn.png (which may or may not be from the game, though I have a feeling it is) so if anyone can remember the title of this perverted sidescrolling snes game...it would be very much appreciated! thank you! |

Sounds like Ghost Sweeper Mikami:
But it;'s for Super Famicom, I don't know if it had a US release, and SuFami carts will not work on SNES. By the way, this is not a SNES board, it's an Amiga board, and you posted this in the wrong forum since it's not Amiga related. Welcome, please read our rules and FAQs before posting (oops, too late) |

The only SNES game of that kind I can think of would be Valis but the heroine does not hold her skirt.
Maybe one of the Sailor Moon games? (for the outfit) Could you tell us, if you remember: - if it was a game in English or Japanese (the question was hidden in Akira's post). - what kind of sidescrolling it was. Was it more like Valis/Castlevania, more like a beat'em all (double dragon) or more pure platformer (a la Mario) - if you are 100% sure it was SNES. For the chibi sprites I would think of Syd Valis on Megadrive/Genesis. For the skirt holding I would think of Buletta from Vampire Saviour (not released on SNES, but there is probably a port on Playstation). |

I would question if it was SNES too.
