Eye of the Beholder 3 - Free Portable!

Using Dosbox and the performance fixed version I've been able to set up a portable version of Eye of the beholder 3!

looking forward to try it out, thanks

EDIT:

I ran into problems when not running the app from C:\games\eob3....

+ I get popping sounds after using a weapon

running it on Win7 64bit

@Neil
you might want to delete from the archive
eob3\dosbox.conf
eob3\app\dosbox\dosbox.conf

edit
eob3\data\settings\dosbox.conf

[autoexec] section should say

Code:
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
mount c: ..\..\..\..\games\
imgmount d: "..\..\..\..\games\eob3\cd\Eye of the Beholder Trilogy.iso" -t cdrom
c:
cd eob3
call eye
exit
instead of

Code:
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
mount c: c:\games\eob3\
imgmount d: "C:\games\eob3\cd\Eye of the Beholder Trilogy.iso" -t cdrom
c:
cd eob3
call eye
exit
copy
eob3\data\settings\dosbox.conf
(this is where portableapps uses the config from)
to
eob3\App\DefaultData\settings\dosbox.conf
(this is where the config file is copied from in case eob3\data\settings dir is deleted)
(perhaps rename the original to .old/.bak first)

this should take care of the problem where the application is started from

FIXED

Used a different dosbox version as it was causing sound errors, also adjusted resolution sizes for new users.

I'm feeling the urge to play an Eye Of The Beholder game on my Amiga which got me to thinking... would the third instalment have been possible on the Amiga? Initial reviewing of the game suggests it's much like the second one.

The 3rd EOB used a completely new engine then eob1 and eob2 since it was no longer made by westwood.

Depends how fast your Amiga is.

Anyone want to try this on a Vampire 2?

"Death and drek!" I cry (OK, that's a Bard's Tale reference not an EOB one but the sentiment is true).

I've got an A1200 with ACA 1230/56 but I see that's not good enough for DosBos AGA. Curses!

Sorry for necroposting but… old Vogons files for AESOP32 patch are not online anymore, so can someone please post working links?
Or to make it even easier: upload a patched AESOP32 version in the Zone?
Thank you!

EDIT:
Nevermind! Solved!
