There's a utility that comes with SFS (can't remember the name) that you can use to check your SFS partions, give that a go.

Is this "DH7:Uninitialized" intentional or is it related to the error message ?

How big is the HDD ? Is DH7 on the same HDD as DH1 ?

Why do you have so many partitions (SCSI1...6 at least) with all the same name (SCSIx) ?

If the drive is bigger than 4GB and you are unable to initilize DH7 then it could mean that you are not using the right software drivers for a HDD bigger than 4GB.

Hi Thomas,
thanks for the help.

DH7 is uninitialized as it is a Mac (Fusion) partition.

The SCSI partitions (DH0 through DH5) are on a 16GB CF card. Other partitions are an IDE HDD
I use SFS 1.276

DH1: is 1.5GB. DH0: is also 1.5GB and both are within the first 4GB of the CF card.

I attach a pic showing SFSCheck and Disk info for DH1:

It's not a bad block. It's just at some time in the past it wrote a block to the wrong location and now whenever it needs this block it stumbles accross the wrong data.

As the error message talks about a completely different number, there are probably many of such errors on the partition.

I don't think it can be repaired. You should backup all files of this partition, format it and restore the backup.
