Puppy Love

Hi,

I love weird and unusual games, and this one looks very interesting: http://hol.abime.net/?id=3902

Does anyone know where I can find it? Or better, could anyone put it in the zone? Thanks (hopefully )!

There's a "conversion shot" from what seems to be a mac version (?).

Edit: Yeah, it says it's the mac version. I would assume that the Amiga version is more colourful.

I have got the Amiga version here (Well three diff versions) but they don't work

Says the wrong disk is in the drive attached is a screenshot so you know what I mean.

Maybe it isn't cracked (properly ?!?!) If anybody wants I can up all 3 alts to the zone!

p.s HOL Guys : The screens attached are from Amiga ver

Edit: I have 4 versions, they are in the zone

WOW!
Now I'm flabbergasted! 4 versions!
Not bad mate...considering that a request for a working version of this game has been in Twist's MIA list for over 1 year now!

Thanks, but I'm NOT going to add screens to HOL containing error messages ("That is not a valid disk")
Bad karma, you understand

It's amazing what resides on one's HD

Anyway I have prolly got more alt versions if I actually read into the files (names don't say everything)

Hey I never even looked at twists list for this (Maybe I should as I might have others), and these don't work!! think they need cracking tbh! though I am no programmer or expert!

Cracking? Heck, why not CAPSize this?
An original disk exists (cf. HOL entry), so this one could be imaged and enCAPSulated, couldn't it?

Thanks Bippy. I hope someone can fix it, so we can play this interesting-looking game.

Mac people might want to look at this (in french): http://www.grenier-du-mac.net/fiches/PuppyLove.htm . I think you can download it using the "telecharger" link at the bottom of the page (the game is in english, apparently).

Thanks, it seems to work (but I don't get the mouse pointer during play.. maybe I need to change some stuff in the UAE config - anyone else have this problem?).

I'll test ... one moment please ...
Thanks musashi!

[edit] WORKS! The mouse cursor turns to a bone if you use 512K Chip mem only. Turn off 'slow' memory!
Disappearing cursor confirmed with 512K expansion RAM. (WinUAE)

Real thing: Need A500 test. (A1000 doesn't have this $C00000 RAM type)

Unless it is named to something completely different I don't think we have it.
