How to use LHA files (WinUAE)

Hi All,

This is my first post so please be patient.

I have the game blitz bomber in .lha format and I wish to use it with WinUAE. How exactly do I go about getting the game to run. As far as I know I will need workbench (which I don't have). I only have the kickstart version 3.1

Is there something that I am missing in order to get this game to run?

Many thanks Jacko

You could unpack it in Windows using winrar, wincommander or any other tool that can uncompress stuff, then mount the folder that countains the unpacked files as a harddrive in winuae and run it.

I unpacked the LHA file, that worked but when I mount the folder as a HDD in WinUAE all I get is an Amiga DOS screen and I can't do anything.

Will this mean that I need workbench to continue? or is there some command that can help me out.

Thanks
Jacko

insert bootable blank disk in virtual df0:, type loadwb in cli, kickstart must be newer than 1.3
