Guy Spy

Does anyone have a 100% working copy of Guy Spy?

I've been told that the one's I have (Dreamzone, PE2000 and I think Lazarus) are all screwed on Disk 4 (possibly disk 5)

I can't verify if mine is 100% or not, but I bypassed my TOSEC versions and went straight to my DMS version. I converted them all to ADF and then (for curiosity) ran them through TOSEC. It was mix and match between the Nemesis untrained version and the Nemesis/+5 Legend trained version (turning up on disks 3, 4 and 5 ?!?!?)

Well, I don't know what mutated mix of disks the TOSEC team made their dats from, but none of my disks have any trainer tracks on them. I am sure of that. I downloaded them when it was 0-day (back in my courier days) and it wasn't even trained yet. Mine is the original release by Nemesis and Thrill Kill Kult (the TOSEC team also left TKK off the credit in their naming). My disk 1 wasn't recognized at all. So I ended up not using the TOSEC renames, but renamed them 'in the style of' - only correct. I will leave the game testing for 100% to you, as it locked up on me when I inserted disk 5 at the red screen. And I'll just go ahead and upload all five disks. Let me know if it works! Good luck.

Ah, foolish Akira.... You should've preserved all your Amiga material, like Twist does.

Yeah I kept MOST of my stuff, but I deleted some of the pooper efforts.

And stupidly enough, I wiped out about 6 coverdisks to copy some 0-day game.. what a jackass

That wasn't repeted again, one day I reminded my C64 days, when I used to delete old games to make room for new ones, and I ended up missing the old wiped ones. So I decided to keep EVERYTHING, no matter how poopy.

I HAD to delete dangerous Streets, though :P

ok Twist.

I tested the part mine crashes on and yours works. So we can assume Disk 4 and Disk 5 of yours are 100%.

I'll do further testing when I have more time

Super duper! Another hole patched in in the brilliant craftwork of Amiga games. Thank God I saved all of those DMS files from days of yore. I just need to get to the backstash of the others. (sigh)

Could someone please upload again the working version of Disk 4 and 5?

My version keeps freezing on the Peru level, too, and I cannot find a working copy anywhere.

"Guy spy and the crystals of armageddon (1992)(readysoft)(disk 4 of 5)[cr nemesis]"
