I am familiar with Battletech (the anime, I guess), but MechForce is kinda "lost in time" & shareware, which doesn't encourage its preservation. Anyway, I am pretty sure TCD will sort that out...

.lha is the Amiga equivalent of .zip files. Hence, the .lha you downloaded contains the full game. Just open the container with your fav. archiver.

Aminet is the biggest Amiga archive web directory. It's huge, but not always wisely updated. The version could be considered the most famous, at least the most downloaded. I figured it could contain some additional stuff...
