Simple Mail Help

Sorry for being a pain today but I'm trying to get the amiga 1200 fully set up. I decided to upgrade from YAM to simple Mail mainly because I can use my main IMAP email address. I've downloaded the extra .MCC files but the problem I having is simple mail does not work properly if I have Miami running. It won't let me configure simple mail. I had no problems when I was using YAM.

Its still crashing on the configuration page. I think I may be missing one of the MUI classes, but I have MUI 3.8 installed and all the required files its asked. I've used good old snoopdos and it tells me it can't open thebarvirt.mcc. I've looked on the internet for this file and can't find it.

Just a wild guess, but I had a similar problem (the program crashing on the configuration window) and it was solved by setting a smaller font in the MUI preferences.

I was reading somewhere about setting a smaller font. I think it was in the simple mail help forum. Didn't understand what it meant, I'll try that and see if it works. Thanks.

Edit: Sorry to sound like a n00b but how do I change font on MUI, I don't have the full version of it.

Sorry, haven't been here for a few weeks. On your system partition, open the MUI drawer and run 'MUI'. In the left column, you'll find NListviews which is one of the classes you have to install for SimpleMail. There you can set fonts.

Hi all, I have also issues with this brillant program, it keep crashing when I try to send email or received, I have try different configuration (pop/imap) , I have tried to setup in MUI the fonts smaller but it change nothing, I have tried version 0.41/44/45, same result, I'm on classic workbench 3.1, if someone have a trick to make it working I take ! , anyway I going to install or update the Betterstring......
