numerick keyboard do not work

Just got my "New" upgrade from Cloanto for my new PC Win 7 and find I can't use my numeric keyboard, and without that the emulator is quite useless to me. So is there any solutions, Cloanto dosen't seems to bother answering

Maybe you have mapped the numeric keys to joystick functions? Open the WinUAE GUI with F12 and check 'Game ports'. Make sure that the second port doesn't use the numeric keyboard layout.

Or if you're using the Amiga Forever player just change the keyboard joystick emulation settings in Tools > Options (if you use F12 you'll need to do it each time you load a game; this way, you just make the change once).

Could you explain a bit more in details, Please. As a great grandfather things do not work as well as they did 40 years ago. (the eprom do not burn as well now days)
I do not use UAE for games, but for practical applications (Finalwriter, Superbase Pro, Money Matters and a few more) as I do have problem with my real Amiga setup.

Oh if you don't want to use it for games then it's even more straightforward:

1) Load up the Amiga Forever Player software, as usual.
2) Start your emulation session (I presume you're using the Workbench 3.x environment?). Do NOT go to fullscreen mode, yet.
3) In the Player window, at the bottom to the left of the play/ffwd/rwd/stop buttons, you should see two little icons, one with a keyboard and one with a gamepad. Make sure neither is selected (highlighted).

That should sort it. If you need to go fullscreen with your emulation session, do so now!
