Faerie Tale adventure

Hi guys,

So I have Fairie tale Adventure both as an ADF and the original disks.

However, my Amiga 2000, which I upgraded to ECS, absolutely refuses to run it. It freezes at the main screen (this is even if I boot it). I run into a similar issue with Another World.

I am pretty sure it's because I'm upgraded to ROM 3.1.

Is there a way to go back to ROM 1.1 or 1.2 (kickstart or soemthing) and then boot to these games or am I just stuck?

There are a lot of kickstart switcher adapters out there, which allow switching between 2 to 8 different kickstarts.

ross has fixed the game. It can now de played from HD, the sound issue has been fixed and you can answer anything you want (or the correct answer) at protection screen. See the details here : https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=34675

Thanks guys.

From a longer term perspective, it sounds like I need a way to quickly switch from ROM 3.1 to Kickstart 1.3. I'm not sure if that will help the ECS side of things but maybe it would help some of my more stubborn games.

As I said, there are some PCBs, which allow you to switch between multiple ROMs or Eproms. You can get those at Ebay or have them built at your favorit PCB factory

And there is the Romulator, which is the most comfortable but also most expensive variant at $80 at AOTL.

Why not use Relokick?
