Help! with the AW Competition

Guess the identity of the mystery Amigan in the spacesuit for the AWompetition. http://amigaworld.net/modules/featur...id=184&sort_by

1. The mystery Amigan is not a spaceman and as far as we
know has nothing to with NASA, space or space travel.

2. The mystery Amigan was part of the original Amiga
development team

3. The mystery Amigans first name is obtained from this
cryptic part of the riddle:-

"Pianeta, without an Amiga, stands; this author of many a
spiteless palimpsest, created by the self-same hands."

His second name comes from (especially the first part):-

"Proverbially lost, a memorial that once made the mighty
despair, now found by the waters where, when the sun was
rarely spotted, the frost found fair."

its not Sam Dicker, Joe Pillow or Richard Garriot, so any help?
