I use MakeCD for this

CDDA is possible if you make an Audio Image (AFAIR !!!!) .... you can simple play them with PlayCD from AmigaOS or a little player like SongPlayer

To play this as mp3 you have to convert it first, Use SecondSpin to convert complete CDs into mp3 files

Generally i do not want 'just play as mp3'. I mean if i have game with CDDA tracks (code of game write for playing CDDA in game), and i want to use ISO image of this game, for listening CDDA music in game too. I mean i want this: game will thinks that i have CDDA and will play it (from virtual cd)

Send a message via MSN to DoctorQ
Well, I have never managed to create an ISO containing both data and audio in one file with MakeCD, but if anyone knows, then I would be very interested.

I use it for both .... but anyway, Virtual CD cannot use Data and Audio Tracks together, so if you make an ISO out of a CD, you won´t be able to hear CD Audio anyway .....

SecondSpin is buggest for me. Just crash my system. From faq:

Known Problems & Solutions :
==========================='

PROBLEM: SecondSpin crashes when using Prefs editor
-------'
- This is a problem with system libraries colliding. There's nothing
I can do to fix it

Well, it is strange, becouse if it not work, why it need it to write ? Just remove it or do it options for disabling .. Anyway , any solution or replacement ? SecondSpin can grab of course (if do not press button 'prefs editor'), but i do not want to use buggy programm

The Program is not buggy, it´s a collision of buggy libraries

Anyway, I cannot think of any other program to do this .... maybe NCoder, but thats commercial, Demo Version should be on Aminet ....

I already test it, and:
Detect my cd-rw LG, but as 'write speed' said 0x0.
Detect my second dvd-rw NEC normally for read and write. (take a look on screenshoots). For botch case i can erase data from disk, but can't write, becouse (part from faq):

----------------
What are the restrictions of demo version? Can I burn anything with it?
No, actually not. Version 0.4 will no longer let You write data in real mode; instead drive will make an attempt to burn Your discs in test mode. Another limitation is that reading & writing is limited to a minimum speed. This restrictions include burning, erasing and other actions that will modify Your CD / DVD contents as well as any action that will access your drive in any way, even speed probing.
As far as the demo version does not allow You to burn data to disc, You still can use it as data extractor. For more information concerning this topic check other subpages on this site .

Thanks for the CLEAR analysis Kas1e

I had used an earlier demo version last year & was NOT aware the latest demo has NO ABILITY to burn anything

Sorry to have sent you to a dead end with that one, once my tower is back up I will see if I can find the Earlier part working version to try out if you are interested ?

It a pity there are not more options for AMIGA users, but thats proberly because hardware issues made the Amiga a late & expensive starter in the use of CD burners, consequently there was innsuficient money to be made from a developers point of view.

2 Woody:
yes, if you can, take a look later on older distrib of fryingpan.

2all:
Btw, i already check it CDonFire (http://www.netzgesta.de/projects/cdonfire.htm). And agayn :

-------
This is the first release to the public. The archives contains only the 68040/FPU versions of the remote programes and libraries. The program is a early version and still in progress. This version is for testing purposes only.
-------------

And just can't write anythink. Take a look on new screenshoots Red chunk mean button is not working and can't be a pressed.
