Amiberry and RGBCommander

Hi All

This may be a bit niche but it's my last hurdle and is driving me crazy...

I have my arcade machine set up with an IPAC Ultimate. I use RGBCommander to switch the colour of the buttons when starting different emulators.

For some systems, I just use a default set of button colours that match the controller for that system. However, for some I use per game layouts to show which buttons the game uses.

I have all my systems set up apart from Amiberry... I can get it to light the default layout (set up to mimic the CD32 pad). However, I cannot get per game layouts to work. It will only ever load the default layout.

I've noted: When I start a game through the other systems, I can press a key before it launches and see the Retropie options screen to change the default emulator/graphics mode etc... For the other systems this will have the rom name shown 'Set default emulator for (Mario Bros)' for example. However, if I access the same screen when loading Amiberry the rom is just shown as (). I assume this is why Rgbcommander doesn't recognise the rom and just loads the default layout. The correct game loads, so the rom name is obviously being passed to Amiberry...

Has anyone managed to get Amiberry to work fully with Rgbcommander? and if so, can you provide some advice?

I don't really want all the Amiga games to light up the entire CD32 controller layout, as a lot of them only use 1 button...

Oh, and just for info, I'm using the WHDload files for my Amiga games.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Regards

Jonathan

I've managed to solve my own problem.

If I take out the _v1 (or similar) from the rom name then rgbcommander correctly lights the buttons. It's annoying as I now need to update all the names of the roms, the romlist and whdload xml but at least it works!
