Tried the demo and it plays very nice
A1200 Blizzard IV 030. Looking forward to buy and play the whole game The music I did not care much for, so good It can be turned off. Problem is that after a spell like freeze the music comes back? |

Sorry no go, it was considered but left out of the full game when we decided to drop CD32 also too for various reasons.
The full game has since been mass duplicated on Disk, USB and Digital formats ready for the 7th November. Therefore one button joystick UI now only OK. |

Some factoids and semi-useless trivia about Wiz:
1) I originally wrote a top down RPG demo for Windows PC called Wiz in 1999/2000 for then publisher eGames US, but it was not accepted for further development so the project was dropped shortly after. 2) Wiz (Amiga) 2020 took approx 1400 hours to create over 10months. 3) Wartnose the Witch in Wiz, is also the name of a boss character taken from one of my previous Amiga titles Doodlebug OCS/ECS in 1992. 4) Some of the monsters in the later levels of Wiz also feature reworks of some characters from levels in Doodlebug. 5) The game uses parts of the Tin Toy AGA engine but it has been heavily reworked and optimised further since. 6) It takes 10 seconds to create a full duplicate of Wiz on USB as compared to around 6 minutes on 2 Amiga floppies - USB FTW!!! 7) There 'may' indeed be a further new Amiga game from us in 2021 if Wiz does OK later. Although this is more a hobby pursuit on Amiga/Retro, physical games cost money to produce, hence Wiz has to do OK before we consider any more new Amiga games. ...that game would 99% be 'CyberPunks 2 - Next Gen' and again Amiga AGA only. Time will tell. 8) There were days where I really wanted to give up on Wiz for sure as it was lot of work, but I'm glad he was finally born and made it out of my brain and into the world Hope you enjoy the full game later on it's release, currently I am going to take a short break from all development and rest - getting old ...AMIGAAA! |
