"Avalanche: The Struggle for Italy" rare?

https://www.tradera.com/item/381569879

I found this game on Swedish auction site Tradera, unfortunately I gave up bidding on it.

I could not find it on HOL and not on EAB FTP either (the games I found called Avalanche was something else, some German puzzle game)

It seems it was also released for Amstrad cpc.

Hope the one who wins the auction will dump the disc.

Is it rare or am I just bad at searching?

Yep, another extremely obscure CCS wargame that made the jump from 8-bit platforms to the Amiga that we didn't know about! Of course, it's not available anywhere on the net and the chances of the auction winner dumping it is probably slim!

Any chance you can make contact with the auction winner to see if there's a possibility of dumping the game?!

Hopefully you'll image it for the good of the Amiga community then my friend

Let's hope that the data on the disks is still ok.

Ait guys, I got the game.
Along with the original disk, a backup disk was included (Thats the one Ive tried so far). The game is HD installable so not strictly necessary to make an adf (interestingly the requester doesnt ask where to install, simply installs on system drive ;-). (I'll deal with the game file request soon ;-)

I uploaded som pics here:

If its protected (doc check?) let me know so maybe we can do an official crack of this rarity.

An ADF (and a raw dump so Denis can make an IPF, if possible) would be most appreciated.

Do you mind if I use the screenshots on your website for a HOL entry? Also, are you able to scan the game box and disk for HOL (pretty) please?!

Grap the files here:

EDIT 2020.01.24: Now that the files are safely in the zone, I removed the DL link that was previously here in this post.

@DrBong, yes you can use screenshots for HOL.

ADF in the zone, there is no copy protection so it remains untouched

I second that, its refreshing that a collector bought it and felt they should share it, not all collectors are like that, and its much appreciated.

Yeah, it'd be great with a proper adf dump with disk structure, disk label and datestamps intact and not just zipped up files from the disk.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this rare game, much appreciated.

Untouched as in no cracking required.

I hardly think datestamps being present is entirely relevant, a 100% preserved WORKING copy is more important.

But knock yourself out and reinvent the wheel and do another version, I had a zip file to work from!

Again, can you please create a proper ADF dump?
