Unhappy >UFO save problem

Have problem trying to save in UFO (winuae emulated). The game asks to insert either the blank disk or its original savedisk. I dont have the original and it fails to save on winuae blank adf image. Also have the same problem with the Speris Legacy. Both games do not recognise disk images in drive and re-ask to insert proper disks. Tried with both standard and custom images, preformatted via wb. But still no success.

Sorry nebulus,

I just checked the 89 save disks that we have from Back to the Roots but there isn't one for UFO or Speris Legacy

Use WHDLoad versions, savings in UFO and Speris Legacy are no problems with it.

Or use SaveStates.....

http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=emu...#faq_savestate

This will only work though if playing from adf's and NOT Hard Drive.

Or do what I do with all games on many disks, I put them in RAD, a virtual harddrive in the memory of the Amiga.

1. Mount RAD with enough space to hold the game.
2. Put the game in RAD
3. Disable harddrive emulation and reboot with wb in df0 so you can access the RAD and play the game.

Right now I'm playing Indiana Jones Fate of Atlanits (11 disks)... I did what I did above, just when the game starts to load (you press the indy icon in wb). I remove the disk in dfo and quicksave.... now all you need is that save file and no disks or nothing....
