Magazine scan sample

Hi,

I'm planning to scan a bunch of pages missing from AMR mainly concentrating on CDTV related articles and games, a kind of a retrospect to the coverage the system got in the press.

How do you guys think I should proceed? I've read the FAQ and a few posts about posting scans so I decided to include a sample of the quality I can get. Would you prefer to receive these as 300dpi PSD files rather than resized, 150dpi JPEGs and where should I upload the pages?

I don't have much time for anything at the moment, hence the slow reply sorry. What exactly are you planning to upload?

If you can upload the scans already cropped, rotated and ready for putting on AMR, then JPEG is fine. We keep 300dpi scans for later if we need them again but if you have already prepared them so well that we can just attach them to the relevant issue, I have no problem with you uploading the JPEGs.

Which magazines do you intend to scan btw? The sample was from Zero obviously, we have scans of almost all issues but some pages are not the greatest quality.

You can upload to the normal HOL accounts if you wish. It depends how much stuff you have to upload too!

Ok, thanks. That's pretty much what I wanted to know.

My plan was to concentrate on certain topics rather than scan full magazines. Mostly CU Amiga, Amiga Format and few others which wrote about the CDTV. I noticed that quite a few of those articles are missing from AMR.

Cool! While youre at it much of the serious software is missing from alot of magazines also ... hehe
