Just fire up WinAMP and use the Disk Writer Plugin to save the MOD as WAV to HD

Or if you need winamp, use at least one better mod engine like this: http://download.abime.net/winamp/in_sk00l.zip |

Another option is XMPlay (http://www.un4seen.com/) or foobar which works better than modplug player/winamp and uses bass.dll.
There is http://www.deliplayer.com/ but I think you have to pay for output converter option. Yes, found this in Docs. Quote:

thanks for all your answers winuae and modplug player - a great combination for that job!!! also that WinAmp plugin is a great solution but: some files won't stop and turn into a loop. Is there a way to fix that? Last edited by sw2001; 23 October 2004 at 23:31. |

Is that in Modplug player? (i.e. it keeps recording the .wav)
Make sure you are using 1.46 of mpp. I had the same problem with one of the versions. Or it could be down to resources. Reboot your machine before generating the .wav file. Quote:

@ bippym
I don't know if I'm doing it the right way in WinUAE: I go to output and choose Audio - CD Quality - PCM then click on Pro Wizard and sometimes it works (mod files) but most times I get the message "No modules or compressed data found" @ Axxman everything ok in MPP, but some codes it won't convert that happens in WinAMP sometimes (TFMX) @ RetroMan how can you disable the seeking bar in WinAmp? @Paul Thanks for the XMPlayer: I'm just trying out some convertion stuff and it looks pretty good Last edited by sw2001; 25 October 2004 at 01:05. |

SW2001: You are not doing it right, Goto Audio and select the bitrate etc (PCM 44100), then goto ouput and select only an audio codec not a video, the select the filetype and when the file browser comes up goto the filetype bit and select WAV instead of avi.
Now when you restart winuae it'll record all the sounds (everything). Simply edit the WAV to keep what you require |

Try any audio recording software on the PC to record any sound, even that which comes out of WinUAE. (Set it to record "what u hear" or wave out.)
Deliplayer is by far the best mod player imo. |
