Nosferawho? - Amiten back to his old tricks yet again...

Not sure this is the right place to post but it gave me a laugh.

I'm amazed how people still try to praise his "work" after everything he has done to this day.

I am willing to bet this was also taken from somewhere else:

EDIT: Also gotta love how in the credits his name is written ALL IN CAPS while the other people involved have their name written normally.

Yeah, let's just rip the sprites from Ninja Gaiden, no one will notice.

Looks shit just like all of his other games. Looks like he forgot the obligatory "AMITEN SOFTWARE" in huge letters on the main game screen.

Once a lamer, always a lamer. Some things never change.

If you're going to "remix" (rip-off) a game and release it to the public (as your own), then it goes without saying that you should at least do a damn good job of it, else instead of respect, all you'll get is people's contempt.

I don't see anything new or exciting about this project. No story except to suggest a homeless ninja picking up coins other people accidentally dropped on the ground.

To be fair, I don't see the problem in using placeholders etc for a work in progress. But it does seem a bit disingenuous to promote it without disclosing that fact.

Also it does look like the sprites have been "redrawn" by removing the sword, different colours etc.

Also the portrait in the bottom left is from another game, As are the lanterns.
but can't quite place it.

Par for the course with a PD game maybe.

Amiten doesn't use placeholders, though. To make matters worse, he tried selling a game as such.

It won't be a PD game though will it.... like his Coco Banana game which he ripped off it's clear he hasn't learned his lesson.

There's no amount of money that would have me work with them and one of the key reasons I'll not release my source code anymore.

I know I probably shouldn't... but posted this in another thread, though much more relevant here:

Send Amiten an e-mail with the above

He'll then be able to produce a new "original" game out of those sprites via AMOS, claim them as his own and finally charge an absolute fortune for it like he did with "Coco Banana"... in virtually no time at all

Mind you, as per standard, it would still be the same old mediocre game that only a 5 - 10 year old might get excited about.. and if you were stupid enough to purchase; then you'd play for one minute maximum before getting totally bored due to restrictions / scrolling / dodgy hitboxes / features / storyline / lack of originality.

Ah this probably explains why the videos/page suddenly vanished for this.

Oh and the snake looked like a modified version of this one from Mother 3

Pretty sure this is just the Coco Banana engine, he just changed that stupid scrolling routine where the player gets at the edge of the screen when near the end of the level and made something that resembles more a proper game.

Other than that, it has the same effects, same transitions, same parallax, same movement.

I'd really love to know who "Per-Ola Eriksson" is on EAB???

I do admire your constant enthusiasm for Amiten games with comments like this on Indie Retro News:

Yeah and?

Doesn't mean anything, or that the games produced are any good; not to mention that he's been trying to rip off the community with rubbish time and time again over many years now with substandard crap that makes the Amiga as a system look pathetic...

Good games??? Give us a break!!!

I'll correct the above... you mean ripped graphics, shite scrolling, dodgy hit boxes, unoriginal ideas etc... please tell us all how that equals "good games"; as I'm very confused???

Yes, you are the champion reviewer on Indie Retro News of all new Amiga, *cough* quality games; in your own mind.

...and are probably on Amiten's payroll as your name is mention in virtually all his games; as you promote / support / defend them to death on all web media no matter how rubbish they are

Absolutely classic!!!

"ENGLISH AMIGA BOARD STRIKES AGAIN"???

It should read; "AMITEN STRIKES AGAIN WITH ANOTHER BLATENT RIPOFF"!!!

That's the real headline across all Amiga forums / news sites.
Typical Amiten... remove everything from your website and then claim that it's all EAB's fault... what, for exposing you yet again after ripping graphics and claiming it's your own original game???

No mention that yet again you took graphics / slightly modified them from a very well known commercial game; but that's totally cool in your mind hey? Anything to make a quick buck

Yup, EAB is full of disgusting individuals... we have no morals / rip people off / sell half-baked rubbish and are not decent people like you clearly are... hahahahaha.

Tell us, why the need to remove the page from your own site then???

Have you read the comments on Indie Retro News? These were posted way before it reached EAB news, but you still support them as they promote your rubbish... which EAB will not!!!

I suspect he never coded CoCo or just took the code from somewhere else.

Once there was a scrolling text demo he claimed he wrote and it was just sample code from Amos the Creator and people were commenting how great it was.

I think there's been a few times like this.

He has some ok interviews but meh...

He didn't, but the coder got proper credit AFAIK. At least he was here at EAB trying to defend Amiten during the Coco Banana debacle.

If I recall correctly, it's the guy getting the "Additional Coding" credit on this thing. Which is kinda funny because it's obvious it's all his coding, amiten is just swapping GFX on the same engine, MAYBE touched up the scrolling routine. But it's clearly the very same engine with the very same features and very same issues.

"Badly Born" is a very funny mistranlation from spanish, I must say.

ROFL

Amiten has now updated his webpage to include a little note directed straight at me:

Hahahahaha, too funny...

What do you mean you didn't remove "nothing"?

Where has your "public" NINJFERATU webpage suddenly gone to; a black hole or something?

Where has the YouTube video posted on "Indie Retro News" suddenly gone to?

Yeah, of course you won't remove anything after being found out yet again; there's money to be made, at least in your eyes (somehow)!!!

===========================================================================

Amiten, you are clearly reading EAB threads; why???

Of course, what you're constantly doing is totally above board and not a scam???

Please tell me why you think that I'm even remotely interested in visiting your shit webpage full of ripped games or propaganda videos???

Why don't you direct your comments towards people on Indie Retro News? I mean, that's how we all found out about you latest scam / ripoff!!!

Oh that's right; you can't do that because for some really bizarre reason, they still promote your rubbish. Don't bite the hand that feeds you and all that

Please do not insult Per-Ola, DamienD. I know him almost personally since 2004.

Good for you Predseda... doesn't change the fact that he's on Amiten's payroll and constantly defending the scumbag; who is well known in the Amiga scene for trying to make a quick buck out of very sub-standard products that he apparently "produces".

I for one wouldn't be associated in any way with this type of person... but then I have morals.

Yeah, people can make up their own mind.

I think the verdict on Amiten is pretty clear by now... if it wasn't already years ago.

...but don't tell me I should respect people who praise the ground that Amiten walks on, like Per-Ola seems to; for some strange reason

What, is it because his name get's written in every crap Amiten game?

WOW, WHAT A HONOUR!!!

Anyone with an ouch of moral backbone would steer well clear of Amiten / his team; and not be associated with them... but not your buddy...

So tell me Predseda; are you going to purchase this totally awesome rip-off game showcasing the very best that the Amiga has to offer when it's finally complete; and then post screenshots on Lemon Amiga?

Don't answer, and considering you did with Coco Bonkers; yeah probably... because that's the best thing to do, promote these f$%king scammers!!!

Let's keep the Amiten propaganda off EAB please!!!
