Is (US) always NTSC?

As the title says: Is it save to assume that (US) for country means the game is NTSC?

as a rule yes but some games have no changes what so ever and may run too fast like Lotus 2 US version runs to fast on NTSC machine the code is the same as PAL version.

and other games like Gods have a special NTSC version so it doesnt run to fast on NTSC machine etc.

does what I wrote make any sense?

US is NTSC but game might not have any changes to code from Pal so = to fast >>>

When those 'some games' are just some outsiders it's ok for me. A few games can be configured by hand.
but I guess it's ok to set ntsc as default for (US) disks then.

thx

iirc yes because when you play Gods US on Pal its to slow so must set NTSC.

if you play Gods Pal in NTSC its considered fast.
