Looks awesome my jaw just hit the floor. I have so much questions and ideas for that game, but I believe the team behind this title know what to do

I only caught a part of the stream - the two buttons are configured for jump and attack? Is there scope to use a 6 button pad so as to have one button for jump and 2 or more for the various attacks?

Does a cd32 pad even work on a 500?

I've seen... special move, dash attack, low attack, back attack, normal "combo" attack, grab, throw, two different jumping attacks, block... damn, even 2 buttons seems to not be enough now
Weapons make any brawler better. I fondly remember the sickening crunch when you beat enemies with a piece of pipe on the Spectrum's Target: Renegade...

As for control complexity, weapons don't have to make that any worse than it is - when holding a weapon, some moves are just not available and are replaced with their weapon-equivalents. Simple.

You can keep your Mortal Kombats, Final Fights and Street Fighters. None of them ever came close to the sheer visceral fun of Target: Renegade on the Spectrum. I've played many, many brawlers since and none have ever matched it - certainly nothing from Capcom or Rare.

Just watched the Stream brilliant!!!

I think the Artist did a Amos Demo a while back it looked fantastic but Amos was to slow, I cant find the thread.

Yeah I found it, it was this great looking Paralax, brilliant mainly because of the Graphics very talented Artist.

The author of this demo in Amos, pointed out that it was not optimized but it was only to demonstrate the transparency effects that can also be used on Amiga by dramatically increasing the visual quality at 16-bit console levels like megadrive and snes. I think this kind of effects will also be added in Metro Siege.
