What does emulation have to do with anything? 3.1.4 would be just as useful in an emulator as it would on a proper machine.

I don't. The majority of this OS is 25 years old and we're still expected to pay for it? F..k off.

Well, considering I never have a .HDF over 1000MB, then I don't really have use for the extra features.

As you know, I usually have one game per configuration / set of .ADFs / HDF for use in my collection so 3.1 is just fine for me when needed

That's your opinion, good for you!!!

You could try to be a little more positive / supportive of developers sometimes; even if it doesn't fit "your" agenda...

The countdown should be done after doing some work and not before, the unexpected events are always around the corner, it goes without saying, we Amiga users are used to counting days, counting years and counting decades

Doesn't anyone else remember those awesome Windows installer progress bars that would sometimes go backwards ?

The work is done, the final package was delivered Saturday night. Actually, I planned to get ready by Tuesday night (well ahead of time) but we had one emergency that required some work, which was completed Saturday. It is now in the hands of Hyperion to put it up. It's not in my hands at this time anymore.

Why the hell would anybody start hyping a release 10 days in advance when he has to rely on Hyperion not to fuck this up?

You're new here, obviously.

If it was not a countdown to release, what is it for?

Oh great, . IIRC, it was few months between 3.1.4 completion, to final release?

No, it won't take that long. I just called them. It's really only that it need to be put on the server, and everybody has to make a living with a day job. I was promised it would be up in one or two days.

So anything that is 25 years old should be free?

Are you in a hurry? Is it a life or death matter?
If not, why the hell does it matter?

Not that it's a question of life and death, but we have the beard growing there. I'm almost ready to replace Santa Claus

Did someone wrote to Hyperion's Web Master ?
