Not enough subscribers? I'd like to know the bar they've set. What do they expect from the Amiga community now a days?? It was the Amiga community that pushed for a release in the first place, for a game that they seemingly had forgotten about them selves
Must be that they never finished it, and now forgot how to finish it. Or it would take too long to do and there isn't money in it ti make it worth their precious time.

I suspect the same...

15,000-30,000$ minimum for a game that they've finished already years ago? That's indeed a bit greedy.

Just greed, they've made millions on the mobile versions so can't be arsed with the Amiga people. Considering the countries they have ended up living in, that are ruled by greed and corruption it's not really surprising!

Yes, but owned by someone that intends to keep it for himself and his own purposes.

Nobody has confirmed it except for people directly involved with the game. If it's such a rare treasure they surely would mention it here: http://www.pcmuseum.ca/collections.a...xt&group=Amiga ?

I doubt it now. I think the only new platform your likely to see is Blackberry, try and milk it a bit more.

From my side, i'll prefer them to keep the game for themselves, as an amiga consummer i have plenty of game much better that this one! Above all i really don't like the way they playing with you guys, my advice is to stick with what is already available on our amiga and forget about this crap.

During the latest Commodore: The Final Years update, they mentioned that Syd Bolton has unfortunately passed away. More info is found here.

This is why preservation is important. Hopefully, the museum is still operating and the Amiga software isn't lost.

Technically it's not gone, but we'll just never see the real Amiga version released, although they promised to do so.

At least they got their "15 minutes of fame" and a few sales on crappy mobile platforms nobody cares about.
All thanks to Viddi for discovering the video and bringing it to attention here at EAB.

Why? You can play this game in Canadian museum Personal Computer Museum in Brantford, ON Canada (http://www.pcmuseum.ca).

"I can also assure you that this is one awesome game. Right now, the only place you can play it is at the Personal Computer Museum, which is part of the charm of coming here and trying out new things. Kids that are comfortable with Mario seem to have little difficulty, although there are some advanced tricks in this game that take time to figure out."

That's why I said technically not gone, I know a full version exists, we'll just never see a release for "the masses".

Besides, Canada is a long way from DK if I want to try it, that's never going to happen, especially not now in these Corona times.

Anyway, I don't care anymore.
Even if, by some miracle, it were made available as digital download I wouldn't spend a dime on it.
That ship is long gone, so to speak.
