Serious problem in D/Generation
Though I mentioned this issue in the prb. Games forum, but I thought that it might be a WinUAE issue so I put it here as well. (...and that's all, I don't want to spam every board.)
In the game D/Generation, there is a closed door which you should open by entering a password in a nearby terminal. If you approach the terminal, the keypad and a cursor appears, but there's no way to move the cursor as it doesn't respond to anything. And you cannot use your keyboard to enter the password manually, either. I'm playing the AGA version, but this problem appears in other versions, as well. I'm quite desperate because it's such a great game and I'm dying to complete it, but it seems that this is the end of the line. Unless... could somebody offer a solution? I uploaded a savestate file of the room in question to the Zone. (Just approach the terminal in the room and you'll discover what I wrote of.) Thanks in advance! |

Password dialog requires CD32 pad. (Game is CD32 disk rip?)
Quick fix: Input-panel, select configuration #1, map for example "Joy #2 CD32 Red" to some random free key (make sure you also have joystick directions mapped if you use keyboard joystick emulation because custom input disables ports-panel settings) Return to emulation and password dialog panel cursor should start flashing. |
