32 bit icon editor in OS 4.1

Is there such a thing on the file server? I have downloaded icon editor 1.9 or something but I cannot get it running.

@bobrpggamer, not all your OS 4.1 issues are support.WinUAE.

This has nothing to do with WinUAE.

Indeed, I'm sure the thread will get moved to a more appropriate forum before long, but in the meantime, are you sure you have AISS installed? Many programs (including this one I believe) require it for their toolbar icons. Also, version 2.0 of IconEditor is on OS4depot - not sure if the differences help, but no harm in trying the latest version just in case.

Alternatively, there's another 32-bit editor on OS4Depot called IconEd that might be worth trying. Both run fine on my pretty standard 4.1 setup.

For 4.1
Install all the applications listed in the "app" section there are many to install.
E-UAE (runinuae) you can leave it at the end
Personally I had to make corrections to adapt it to winuae the configuration file is particular and it will not work until you have finished configuring the system correctly.
When it comes to 4.1FE I like to try and help out.
To exchange experiences.
You have to keep in mind that with the 3.xx you just have to make the right configurations and everything works.
With 4.1 many parameters are different from a real machine and are adapted

If you can and are interested in 4.1 follow the advice of "DamienD" write your posts in that section we will be free to try your configuration much better.

Make sure you have access to update1 and also to amiupdate
The requirements are an I5 processor to have fun.

Well I figured since I was using winuae to use an virtual Amiga I would post in winuae. The app IconED does work without any issues though, thank you.

Yes there are no particular differences between version v1.9 and v2.0, only new functions have been added, one of these functions I asked for for OS3 version.
