Rick Dangerous Flash

The Amiga version of Rick Dangerous, ported to Flash:

Spot-on conversion. Stunning stuff.

(Not one by me, this time.)

Nah, played it for 10 secs and noticed different sound and music AND when shooting it doesn't have the different bullet sounds like the original; you know, each time you shoot, a different pitched echoing bullet sound plays in the original.. not in this one...

And don't know why the aurthor has the quality set to high when all retro games should be in low so the pixels doesnt get blurry.

Yea i noticed too .. Playability wise its excellent, but as Ironclaw mention the sound effects seem different, like im sure it went 'Gonnnnng' when you picked a treasure up didnt it?.

I still rate it F'kin brilliant tho.

Blimey. I'm not this pedantic! I should say, then, that it's a "close enough" conversion.

Bomb sliding was introduced in Rick Dangerous 2. You can't slide them in the first game.

Brilliant conversion of one of the first games I ever played on a 'miggy. Brings back some good memories.

The sounds are just like the original because this flash is made from the Atari ST version.

I also hate when retrogames get this blurry screen, just look at those retropacks (arcade/megadrive) relased for PS2 and Xbox... they all show blurry mess, i want sharp pixels just like it look on my RGB monitor.

That never bothers me, as I generally run my XBox on an ancient 14" TV.
