My guess is you need abn active terminator at the end of the chain after your "device"

Active term---Controller---Not used---Not used---Device---Ative term

I will try to get a extra "Active terminater" monday and try it out.

But what are the different when i set the "Terminator power" on the HD or use a "Active terminater"?

Best regards

Term power usually means that the drive supplies termination power to the bus, which is generally a good thing. however, it doesn't mean that it's terminating the bus, there should be another jumper for that, if it's a relatively modern drive, it should do active termination.
Also check that the cyberstorm doesn't have its internal termination enabled, that is if it has any.

Just about all ultra wide scsi drives and above lacks onboard terminators.

It's much clearer to use a terminated cable anyway.. No need to remember / forget to set termination on the units.
