Hm, seems like you can plop a regex into the search. For example, if you search for

PHP Code:


			
.*dragon.*

, you will get all results with the text "dragon" somewhere inside it.

Don't know if that's intended, but it's neat nonetheless.

Number of search result varying a lot.
If you search for "Genre - Sub-category : Sport - player" old HOL & new HOL have 190 non matching search result.
Which DataBase has to be trusted ? Old with 493 results or new with 304 results ?

That is because in the new HOL all versions of a game are now one entry. That's why old HOL has 7,739 entries and new HOL only 6,406.

can we finally have a unified search please like if i put "electronic arts" in the generic search box it will show games published by electronic arts? having to delve into "advanced search" to search thru anything but game titles is really very not much like 2023 besides the new look which is questionable it doesn't feel like this database lives up to modern day search standards

I often (very often) get broken / unloaded thumbnails in the screenshot page; never happens on old HOL unless for network problems;
I believe that's because of the larger resolution of the thumbnails, plus the merging of diff pages for the same game, that creates longer lists of thumbnails.

This happens almost every session, with maybe a couple of game pages open.

I'm on Windows 10, Chrome, on a ~100Mbps download speed connection.

I get the same thing, fast pc, lightning speed net, never happened with oldhol..

It looks like newhol cant give out information fast enough...

Sometimes hitting CRTL+R wont reload it and you have to reload it second time for it to work

Sessions are broken. I login and then click around a few pages and it shows 'login' instead of 'logout'.

Maybe not a problem specific to HOL v3, but the Rick Dangerous II½ game is not reachable :

A search feature of games that have or doesn't have DBS (This time it's MIA) would be good.

Same if I want to get rid/only see Data Disks.

Hopefully Cody finds the time to fix that one (and some other search related bugs) soon.

Whitespace in front and at end of search string should be stripped to get better results.

Is there any way to list games that required 1mb of RAM? It doesn't seem to state what hardware is needed for games.

The Immortal, for example, needs 1mb OCS minimum, but that's not specified in its HOL entry.
