Furia ECO2 rev2.b addmem 1.5mb

I recently got a Furia for the A600. I'm very impressed by the quality of the card and it work well in all situation I did tested it. The addmem function work as expected and bring the a600 to a whooping 11mb of fast. Now I'm just curious about the implication of such a furiatune switch, why is it not always on if there is no consequences ? My guess is that it might be incompatible with the maprom function which I dont intend to use, am I right ? Could it be incompatible with some programs ? Maybe it add a memory hole and can add some issue with hardware ?

As you see I really have no clue about this feature and I'm very curious about it's intrinsic functionality. I would be glad to hear any input you might have.

I don't know, but maybe the extra 1.5MB needs some software tricks to be mapped. This is why you need to use the furiatune to add them.
