The config is saved to the Xbox but you can put the ini file onto the DVD and use the force reload option to load it.
Ok ....i cant find the ini file
What i have found is in E\SAVES\Winuaex. This holds the keyfiles to the configs. Do you mean copy that dir across to the dvd and re-point the paths in the winuaex config ???

Or is it so late iv miss-understood

I just wanted to add to this DVD thingy here that i've been doing my own project with WHDLoad & JST games. I've added them to WangiPad -menu list (approx. over 1400 games on the list & rising ). It's just a plain scrollable list but damn good . This has been a long project adding a game now and then to the list. First testing if the game works, and only then onto the list it goes. Also some demos i have in ToolsDaemon -menu list, but it could be it runs out of screen space when most of the demos are added to the list so WangiPad to the rescue might be the situation.

Cheers

Uhm . . . I just noticed . . . or rather failed to notice, Death Knights of Krynn and Dark Queen of Krynn on the list?

I say Champions of Krynn, though . . . and what about Eye of the Beholder? (Might have failed to notice that one, but asks just for the fun)

I only have a plain DVD-ROM . . . well, it's a DVD/CDR/CDRW . . . what you recommend for that? DVD+ or DVD-?

Oh, btw . . . As long as the XBox has the MicroCrap Logo, I won't buy one

I figured out why the other day... it was because I'd set my ftp proggy to only upload at 14kb/s so that it didn't max out my net connex.

Boy did I feel stupid when I figured this out. I get about 7mb/s again now. Thank the lord. (the lord is not god, the lord is Michael J Fox in Back To The Future)

I'd like to get involved in this too looks a good project, i have 2 pc's and 2 dvd burners so i could do some distro's when it comes out. Also i'd like to offer assistance on any graphics / backgrounds / covers etc.

@andyr i have xbox with a samsung drive (the one with the 2 holes in the tray) and mine reads every cdr / dvd-r i throw at it but not dvd+ (will read dvd+rw tho)

Xboxes can be fussy beasts with some drives reading some media and others reading other. I've personally not found any parity between drives from the same manufacturer. A friend bought his xbox at the same time as me - same drive, probably from the same xbox production batch etc... - but his will read DVD- media just fine.

It doesn't really matter though. As long as it reads one type of recordable DVD media then I'm not bothered!!!

@ Synchro - My offer of duplicating DVD's still stands. Have myself a couple of nice Pioneer DVR109 16x writers now along with a DVR106!
