Winuae + Midnight Resistance

Hello, i may well get flamed/banned for asking such a simple question but i am looking for a way to play midnight resistance on Winuae. It seems to crash just after the OCEAN logo? any ideas? i am using .adf files.

You should try this version. Use a standard A500 Quickstart config with 512KB Chipram/512KB Slowram.

Whilst i have your fantastic attention, i was wondering if there was anyway of setting Winuae up with a Directory of games? i want to be able to load one configuration and then double click on the game name to play.

Atm the i have each game setup as a different config which has the adf file loaded as floppies?

There is a fine "double click" setup called Gamebase Amiga.

Use the Quickstart config for an A500 model with 512KB extra Ram. This should work for the majority of all games. For AGA games use an A1200 config.

thanks, that is working well with Midnight Resistance thanks very much, its still as hard a remember lol.

What does the hard drive tab do on winuae does this allow yo to load multiple games so you can click on the title to start them?

A link to set this up is here but not to sure why it does not work or exactly what its used for?

You can setup a virtual harddrive, it's a .hdf file which is the same as a real harddrive but only in data/image form. You can e.g. install an Amiga Workbench on it. You can also use a real Amiga drive or directories/archives as a mounted drive.

Sweet looks good, i will setup slightly different config for various games. I know this is asking alot but wondered if anyone has managed to get Xenon 2 Megablast working on Winuae, i seem to get to the part where i select 1 player or 2 and then loading level 1 then it asks me to put in the game disk?

Also the same with Zool 2?

Which version have you tried? The OCS/ECS version runs fine in a Amiga 500/600 config, the AGA version in an A1200 config.

Would anyone be able to help me locate a Turrican 1 and Turrican 3 rom that works on Winuae. I would also like chance to select unlimited lives, time and continues, think it maybe a trainer.

All four games should be playable with a A500 quickstart (if you use the ECS version for Chaos Engine 2). Would be helpful if you could list the disk names for the versions you tried.
