Kickstart 1.3 floppy disk for the A1200

Hi

Im looking for a floppy Kickstart 1.3 disk for the A1200 ( maybe works on another Amiga model)
The floppy disk when boots ask the user how many memory will have your Amiga after the kickswitch to 1.3
so you can select 512k,1mb.1.5mb or 2mb of memory
my floppy disk is now damaged and can't repair it

any one have it?

You are looking for Relokick. I don't know if it's free or if it's still under copyright law, if it's free i can send you the ADF.

I think it's not relokick...cause I downloaded all relokicks from tosec and none of them is the one Im looking for........none of them asks how many memory

but if you got it... and you are sure it asks how many memory...please upload it to the zone....upload the floppy image without the kickstart file if you are unsure

ask prowler to have a look at the disk for you, perhaps he can save it

I have a copy of the relokick disk but it never ask's me about memory options

Didn't it offer some control by keeping something down during boot process? Never used 1.4x, just 1.3 without any trickery.

that's impossible believe me...the disk is really damaged...also I did a repair using the program diskdoctor...program that comes with WB 1.3...and diskdoctor destroyed all files.....

I have this disk with the memory selection kickstart 1.3 on it (it has some other tools too). I'll upload it tomorrow for you

I used to use it in addition to relokick - some games worked better with one util than the another iirc.

I agree that it most probably is impossible now that you have damaged the disk further.

That wasn't much of a 'repair' was it? I never use DiskDoctor myself. Potentially destructive tools like that should never be used on an original disk, anyway.

I've uploaded it to the zone for you. Boot the disk and then use option 3. Appears to only work with 3.0 kickstart as refuses to run on my 3.1 machines due to unknown kickstart version.

File is now removed from the zone as someone reminded me it's probably wrong to share files based on a kickstart rom

I saw Fabie download before I deleted it though so we will see if it's the right util.

that's was Im looking for
however this disk is a compilation that have another tools
the kickstart file that works by default on the floppy is hacked by Galahad
if you insert a workbench 1.3 disk using that kickstart you will see the word "Galahad" on all WB screens

but there on devs directory is the original kick 1.3 file renamed to rom1.3.old
of course I deleted the kick-hack made by Galahad and now I use the original file
