Mod playlist

I would like to have a playlist of several mods/songs playing (from my A500 with a gotek drive).

What player should I use, and can I find compilations of mods on adf?

Thnx!

Try this one: http://aminet.net/package/mus/play/hippoplayer . It plays playlists but works well from native hardware and mainly requires Kick1.3+.

Here is what i did before i had an hard drive on my A1200 :
1) Use xpk sqsh to crunch the mods.
2) Use diskspare.device to put more data on a disk.
Dunno if this works on an A500, though. You may need kick v2.0+.

I was thinking about putting another adf on my gotek drive, so that would make it RAM.

But I was initially hoping that I could play multiple song files from a tracker or music editor, just load a bunch of songs. ???

I know no music editor that can play several files by itself.
However several players can do this, like Delitracker or Eagleplayer.

...but since hippoplayer is run from workbench should it not be quite simple to just insert another floppy (or switch in the gotek) and add more songs from that one?

I mean if I want to have a cocktail party should it not be possible to have the miggy playing the mingling music mix? B)

Opps!

I rather mean, how do you insert new songs? From attaining them to get them playing in hippoplayer. All I find are separate mod files.

Sorry for being nonsensical.

The LHa file not only has the Hippoplayer application but also documentation of how to use it. Have you ever used LHa before?

No I havn't. I thought it was an archive format only to be used with amiga emulators. But I now spotted the info txt in the hippoplayer adf Nobby_UK attached above.

I just need to back off and look at this a bit more.

I'll search for Delitracker and Eagleplayer too.

You can add as many mods as you wisch (up to around 8000) to HippoPlayer. It holds its own list. If you want use the list later, just save the list and open it when you want. More details in the documentation.
